Location permission
Krakow Compass needs location access while you use the app to show distance, guide you toward stops and detect nearby places. On iPhone, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Krakow Compass and allow location access while using the app.
Compass direction
If the arrow feels unstable, move away from metal objects, cars, tram lines or strong magnetic interference. Slowly rotating your phone can also help the device recalibrate its compass.
Place discovery
Some places are discovered only when you are close enough to the correct spot. Large places such as squares, parks or hills may use several discovery points instead of one exact coordinate.
Walking safety
Always pay attention to your surroundings, traffic, road crossings, bikes, trams and local signs. Krakow Compass is a walking aid, not a replacement for common sense or official directions.
